OUR INSPIRATION

In May 2023, we launched a platform where you can easily discover LGBTQ+ founded businesses and service providers and learn about their stories.

We realized very quickly that we needed a better way to connect, share resources, and support one another more easily. Hey Famm is the idea born of this realization, informed by conversations and requests from our LGBTQ+ community, as well as our own lived experience as queer, BIPOC women in the workplace.

It’s more necessary now than ever to connect with the community to get us through challenging times, when people and policies target our fundamental right to exist.

This free social platform allows us to truly show up for and learn from each other in a secure, affirming professional environment.

    We have strict terms of use, attestations, and collect your intent for joining this space along with a social or web link to help verify you’re you!

    People you are not connected with will never see your identifiers. We also do not share any community data outside of the Hey Famm platform EVER!

    Additionally, we provide robust content moderation tools that stop any hateful language before it hits our feed. But we also customized this feature to ALLOW queer terms that should not be banned or flagged like they are on other social media platforms.

    We also have blocking and reporting.

  • We take your privacy seriously. Your data is never sold, and you control what information you choose to share.

    Everything flowing from our server to the client is encrypted, including messaging, profile information, posts, and more. Encrypting is the process of protecting information or data by using mathematical models to scramble it so that only the parties who have the key to unscramble it can access it.

    Hey Famm is built to prioritize your safety and confidentiality.

  • Yes, you can always delete your Hey Famm Account. This means all data associated with your profile will be removed from the platform.

    In the future we will have more options that are flexible.
