Humankind also made a splash with the launch of its gender-free swimwear, quickly gaining popularity and selling out within the first month of being stocked in Target stores nationwide.
Founder Haily Marzullo, a Los Angeles native, struggled to find swimwear that made her feel comfortable and confident in her skin. Dissatisfied with the limited options available, particularly the typical women's bikinis, she took matters into her own hands and created Humankind to redefine gender-inclusive swimwear. Marzullo and her team extensively tested fabrics to find the perfect blend that combines the ability to dry quickly with the comfortable stretch and support of sportswear. With Humankind, Marzullo's vision of redefining swimwear, and prioritizing comfort and confidence, has become a reality.
