Besides being a passionate entrepreneur, she is also a middle school teacher, driven by a desire to impact the world positively. Johanna's business sources ingredients from local Chicago growers like Windy City Youth Farm and neighborhood markets, emphasizing community support. Additionally, she donates 10% of the annual revenue to organizations combating racism and economic disparity in Chicago. Her salt company, the only one on Chicago’s West Side, aims to make the world and dinner tables more savory, advocating for inclusivity in food enjoyment.
