QUEERENCIA
Derived from the Spanish word "querencia," meaning a place where one feels safe and can be their most authentic self, Queerencia is an LGBTQ+ lifestyle brand dedicated to empowering the queer community. Founded by Ty Collier, a Black and LGBTQ+ individual, Queerencia merges queer history and culture with trendy products to educate and encourage all queer people to embrace their true identity and express themselves boldly and proudly.
Queerencia's mission is to empower the LGBTQ+ community to embrace who they are and show off their queer pride while creating more accessibility to queer history and culture. With gender-neutral sizing for all apparel, Queerencia promotes equality and offers unique outlets for marginalized groups to express their core beliefs. By educating the community about pivotal queer historical moments and figures, Queerencia honors the past and shapes a more inclusive future.
