Functions and Gatherings

FUNCTIONS AND GATHERINGS

Functions and Gatherings is a bespoke wedding planning company dedicated to making the wedding planning journey stress-free and fun. Specializing in the queer experience, Functions and Gatherings, founded by Jake Taylor, believes that acceptance alone isn't enough—queer love deserves to be celebrated. In an industry that often upholds hyper-normative standards, Functions and Gatherings aims to break the mold and have a blast doing it.

Jake Taylor, born and raised in the Seattle area, now resides in a charming suburban home with their husband and cat, Herman. Jake’s work primarily involves event planning, ranging from corporate team-building events to non-profit fundraisers to fabulously queer weddings. When not at an event behind the clip board, Jake can be found belting 90s Lady Country in the car, reading as many books as they can (with magic and gay kissing), and serving some kind of loud gender bending fashion ensemble.
