OUR INSPIRATION

In May 2023, we launched Famm, a platform where you can easily discover LGBTQ+ founded businesses and service providers.

As time passed, we realized there was a missing piece — a way for all of us (queer professionals) to connect, share resources and support one another easily. Famm Connect is the idea born from this realization, informed by conversations and requests from our LGBTQ+ community.

It’s also incredibly necessary now, more than over that connection with the community is the thing that gets us through challenging times, where people and policies target our community’s fundamental rights.

This will be an invite-only, free mobile app where we can truly show up for and learn from each other in a secure, affirming professional environment.

  • Safety is at the heart of Famm Connect. The platform is invite-only to ensure a trusted community. We have clear community guidelines to promote respect, inclusivity, and values alignment.

    Additionally, we provide robust moderation tools to address any issues quickly via blocking and reporting.

  • We take your privacy seriously. Your data is never sold, and you control what information you choose to share.

    Everything flowing from our server to the client is encrypted, including messaging, profile information, posts, and more. Encrypting is the process of protecting information or data by using mathematical models to scramble it so that only the parties who have the key to unscramble it can access it.

    Famm Connect is built to prioritize your safety and confidentiality.

  • When you sign up, you will have access to a unique invite code which you can share with other LGBTQ+ professionals, entrepreneurs, or business owners in the US, UK, and Canada.

    There are no limits to how many people you can share it with.

    We do ask that you are incredibly mindful of where, how and with whom you share the code. For example, it may be safer to share it with a group via text message versus publicly posting your code on prominent social media platforms where anti-LGBTQ+ folks may see it.

  • Yes, you can always delete your Famm Connect Account. This means all data associated with your profile will be removed from the platform.

    In the future we will have more options that are flexible.
