Based in Albuquerque on unceded Tiwa land, the brand creates artisanal perfumes, soaps, balms, and oils using upcycled dryland plants harvested from across New Mexico and the Southwest through techniques like distillation, enfleurage, maceration, and tincturing Dryland Wilds crafts pure botanical extractions that evoke the actual, untamed scents of desert landscapes. With a commitment to organic ingredients and zero synthetic fragrances, each product offers a sensory experience deeply connected to place, sustainability, and the beauty of the wild.
The founders are passionate wildcrafters and environmental stewards who believe in giving back to the land while honoring its natural resources. Focusing on unwanted and invasive plants removed during construction, road maintenance, and land management, they help restore ecosystems while creating exceptional fragrances. Their work is guided by social and environmental justice principles, with 15% of limited-edition perfume sales donated annually to racial and environmental justice organizations. They also offer free sustainable wildcrafting classes to Indigenous, Black, and QTBIPOC students.
