The Inclusion Imperative is an independent consultancy practice which works with (primarily corporate and institutional) clients to create more effective, productive and robust workplaces, leaders and cultures. Founded by Geffrye Parsons (“Geff”) with the stated ambition of “making the world a more inclusive place, one organisation at a time”, it provides consulting / advisory, professional development / training, and keynote speaking services, all oriented around business transformation and leadership development through inclusion, psychological safety and change agency. Based in Canada and the UK, The Inclusion Imperative is certified as a Diverse Supplier by Canada’s LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC).
What really sets the organisation apart, in terms of its capabilities and quality of delivery, is Geff’s 35-year prior career experience as a client-facing executive with international financial and professional services organisations. This experience allows him to go beyond mere theory and bring a practical, real-world perspective to his work. It also stresses the importance both of aligning inclusion initiatives with strategic business priorities, and of translating theory into practice for those in executive and leadership roles.
