Modica's product is a line of mixers designed for cocktails and mocktails. These mixers are distinct from others because they are made with naturally sourced superfood ingredients, from tart cherries and ginger to the rejuvenating touch of aloe. They also contain vitamins and electrolytes, further enhancing their health benefits. Modica, drawing its name from "modicum," symbolizing a small portion of something exquisite, is a testament to the brand's commitment to quality and wellness.
Eric Wentworth, an award-winning mixologist with a decade of bartending prowess and founder of two distinguished establishments in Louisville, crossed paths with JD Mitchell in business school. Their collective quest for an end-of-day cocktail paved the way for the inception of Modica. While Eric's expertise lay in crafting sublime concoctions without the fuss after a long day, JD represented the majority of us, managing to perhaps squeeze a lime at best. Distressed by the ubiquity of artificial ingredients and preservatives in store-bought mixers, they embarked on a mission to bring something wholesome yet delectable to the table.
