Urbody is a trans queer woman-owned brand founded by two lifelong friends with a shared vision to redefine gender and body norms in the fashion industry. Their mission is to expand access to gender-inclusive functional garments designed for self-expression and body affirmation. They serve the entire gender spectrum and create fit templates tailored to the bodies and needs of all individuals, including trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming folks. By actively incorporating community feedback at every stage of the design process, Urbody ensures that their styles are a reflection of the desires and requirements of their customers.
They started this venture based on their personal experiences of struggling to find base layers that both express one's identity and fit comfortably. They firmly believe that underwear and clothing are essential tools that, if designed with intention, can have a profound impact on body image, mental health, and self-esteem.
