Gather & Grow OC is a queer-women-owned and -led LGBTQ+ affirming therapy practice in Orange County. They’re committed to personal growth and mental health and wellness, providing tailored, inclusive services to the LGBTQ+ community. They focus on building resilience, promoting self-care, and fostering personal development. They prioritize training LGBTQ+ affirming therapists, and believe in knowledge sharing and professional growth to improve services for the LGBTQ+ community. Mental health services are available in CA, FL, and OR, and provider and community education are accessible nationwide.

Traci Medeiros is a CA licensed marriage & family therapist, relationships coach, educator, and consultant providing trauma-informed LGBTQ+ affirming services to adults within the LGBTQ, non-monogamous, kink, and sex worker communities, and education for other mental health providers looking to increase their cultural competence. They co-direct and own Gather & Grow OC and believe in the healing power of compassion and connection.

  • Description: Gather & Grow OC offers LGBTQ+ affirming, intersectionally aware, and trauma-informed therapy services for individuals of all ages, relationships, and families. Their holistic approach refrains from pathologizing and respects the lived experiences of individuals affected by marginalization.

  • Description: Gather & Grow OC, a CAMFT-Approved Continuing Education Provider (CEPA #1000128), offers live and asynchronous courses enhancing cultural competence in LGBTQ+ affirming therapy, intersectional feminism, anti-racism, and trauma-informed care for mental health providers.

  • Description: Gather & Grow OC, a strength-based and client-centered practice, provides psychoeducation to community members to enhance their understanding and management of their own mental health and well-being.

  • Description: Gather & Grow OC’s coaching service utilizes concepts from Intersectional Relationship Therapy, a methodology developed by our Co-Directors, Jacqueline Plante and Traci Medeiros. This approach is LGBTQ+, Non-Monogamous, and Kink Affirming, and aims to help clients understand their individual attachments, incorporate egalitarian communication dynamics, and promote healing through connection with one another.

  • Description: Gather & Grow OC employs both associate and licensed clinicians, with a strong focus on training to improve the accessibility of culturally competent therapy. Additionally, their licensed clinicians are available for external consultation in their respective specialty areas.
