  • Description: Lymphatic drainage massage (also known as manual lymphatic drainage) is a gentle and soothing way to reduce swelling after surgery (including top surgery) or injury. This specialized manual therapy helps the body return excess or stagnant fluid back to the heart, promoting quicker recovery. While swelling and inflammation are normal parts of the healing process, too much of it for too long can lead to pain, tightness, or tenderness. This massage helps alleviate those symptoms, allowing you to feel more comfortable and supported during your recovery.

  • Description: Many individuals are prepared for chest pain and tightness after top surgery, but unexpected neck and shoulder pain can be just as, if not more, troubling. This discomfort often results from muscle guarding and the restricted positions required during recovery.

Dr. Baird’s comprehensive eBook guide offers practical solutions to alleviate post-op neck and shoulder pain. The guide explains why this pain develops and provides a week-by-week plan with specific exercises to help reduce discomfort and promote healing. Each exercise is detailed with text and images, making it easy to follow at any stage of recovery.

This guide is an invaluable resource for anyone recovering from top surgery, offering clear, actionable steps to help you feel better and maintain your progress throughout your recovery.
