ZĒ WINES
Zē Wines began in 2021 when Owner/Winemaker Zane Morris crafted his first small lot of Pinot Noir Piquette during a harvest in the Willamette Valley. This experience ignited Zane's passion for winemaking, leading him to meticulously plan a full-scale production for the 2022 harvest. The ethos of Zē Wines is centered on creating high-quality wines that are accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Zane's vision for the brand was inspired by his desire to share wines with friends during pizza parties and game nights, making the name "Zē" a nod to the inclusive, gender-neutral pronoun as well as a play on his own initial.
As the 2022 harvest approached, Zane was filled with anticipation for the arrival of his first batch of fruit, which would become the inaugural Zē Wines vintage. The 2022 vintage resulted in 125 cases of meticulously crafted wines, including Pinot Noir Rosé, Riesling, Sparkling Pét-Nat, and two Piquettes. These wines were brought to life with the help of Zane's family, friends, and collaborators, who dedicated countless hours to bottling, labeling, and packaging. Zē Wines embodies a sense of community and joy, encouraging everyone to enjoy a glass with good food, good music, and loved ones.
