Rise Collective is a queer- and women-owned award-winning marketing agency for change. Their services include justice-forward content, social media management, accessible design, brand elevation, consulting, speaking, and more. Their goal is to leverage their digital marketing skills to center voices and thought leaders traditionally excluded from mainstream media. Most of their clients are BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and/or women-owned. Rise Collective was founded in 2021 by two white women, Liz Getman, and Maddie Leonard, to remedy harm caused by injustice and create a space of belonging for marketing misfits. Since then, they have grown in team and client size, but have always stayed true to their vision of building an equitable digital landscape and a team of justice-forward marketers dedicated to the collective good.
Liz is a queer social media strategist with 15+ years in digital marketing, social media, community building, and entrepreneurship.
